Some members of Marches Poets are taking part in the Poetry Marathon on 9th September, this is a fundraising event organised by Knighton and District Refugee Support group to celebrate National Poetry Day. Marches Poets are pleased to announce another poetry workshop with Rhiannon Hoosan!! Following the success of her last workshop hosted by Marches Poets Rhiannon is offering a new workshop titled ‘OUTSPEAK: Ekphrastic poetry and creative process’.
The workshop will be on Sunday 12th November 2017, details to follow.
Marches Poets have created a new poetry trail as part of the Knucklas 17 festival on Saturday 19 August. Twenty-one poems can be discovered in locations around the paths through the community orchard and to the summit of Castle Hill in Knucklas. Location maps will be available to consult and those eager to read all the poems can take a list of the titles to look for. The trail will remain in place until the end of September.
